The Ministry of Environmental Protection has issued the No.17 notice of 2016 and approval the Qualification of Environmental Impact Assessment of CEC improve to Grade A. Now CEC can undertake the environment impact assessment of any kind of transport project in China without any restriction of the construction scope, investment, project location and which department will process the inspect. This qualification lays a strong foundation for CEC to promote the business area in High-speed Railway and urban mass transit (including the Light-duty Straddle Type Monorail). It also enhances the influence of CEC in the Environmental Impact Assessment area and promotes the social influence and comprehensive strength.
